AKROMID A

AKROMID® A (Polyamide 6.6) are engineering compounds, characterised by high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal resistance.

Since the temperature level for any automotive application (shift gates, for instance) requires materials with a higher heat distortion temperature, PA 6.6-based AKROMID® A compounds are suitable.

Furthermore, these polyamides offer high toughness at low temperatures as well as easy processing. Our basic portfolio ranges from unreinforced variants up to 60% glass-fibre reinforced materials.

Due to the extraordinary characteristics, this material is suitable for almost all areas of technology for different parts and machine elements, as high-quality electrical insulation materials and for many special applications.
