GREENFLEX EVA

Greenflex® is a range of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA) produced by Versalis.

These products are made by a high pressure polymerisation process adding the comonomer (vinyl acetate) into the main polymer chain based on ethylene monomer. The technology and the type of polymerisation (radical) rend these copolymers a special modification of common LDPE materials.

The main properties of EVA copolymers are different from the typical one of common LDPE polymers and the difference grows according to the increase of VA content. The range extends from properties similar to LDPE to rubber-elastic like properties for high VA content EVA copolymers.
