Monprene® TPEs add value and functionality to consumer products.

Monprene is a high performance line of TPE materials, ideal for applications requiring stretch, flexibility and soft-touch feel. Monprene products consist of unique blends of carefully selected polymeric resins, which are formulated to yield a broad array of hardnesses, textures, and physical properties.

Product range

CP series for consumer products:

  • Standard grades developed specifically for consumer products
  • Wide hardness range: 40 to 90 Shore A
  • Available in low and high density
  • Light, natural colour for superior colourability
  • Suitable for skin contact
  • Resistant to household chemicals and cosmetics
  • Broad thermal performance
  • High flow for improved mouldability
  • Excellent adhesion to polyolefins
  • Recommended for injection moulding, insert and 2K moulding

RG series for regulated products and food contact:

  • RG series of standard products, specifically designed for food contact applications, and other regulated markets such as children's and infants' products. These grades are available from 40 to 80 Shore A and are suitable for moulding and extrusion
  • Complies with various US FDA and European Union (EU) regulations and directives for food contact and toy safety
  • Compliance with these various regulations accelerates our customers’ speed to market with new products
  • For food contact applications and housewares, the Monprene RG series offers excellent barrier properties, adhesion to polyolefins and is dishwasher safe.
  • Applications include: food saver seals, utensil grips and gaskets, knobs and anti-skid parts for kitchen appliances

IN series for building profiles:

  • IN Series of standard products, specifically designed for Industrial Applications such as windor profiles. The end use properties are essential for air and moisture proof window gaskets, including rubbelike seal recovery, low temperature toughness and UV resistance.
  • Advantages are excellent surface quality and no/low die drool, good melt strength / high throughput rate, excellent PP adhesion and low / no staining

RX CP-15100 series of PCR materials:

  • Available from 55 to 80 Shore A
  • High-flow materials for injection mouulding or overmolding onto PP
  • Light, natural colour for ease of coloring
  • Performs and processes like prime TPE
  • RoHS compliant
  • PCR content sourced from waste diverted from households, or commercial, industrial and institutional facilities
