Distrupol is awarded 'Silver' rating accreditation by EcoVadis.

Distrupol has been awarded a Silver rating from EcoVadis yet again for our sustainability efforts in 2023, with the overall score being in the top 6% of companies rated by EcoVadis (in the Wholesale of waste, chemicals, fertilizers and agrochemical products, and other products n.e.c. industry).

The extensive audit carried out by EcoVadis includes investigating and scoring a company's performance in four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The system also allows businesses to track their performance and learn how to further improve their rating for more enhanced sustainability activity.

Taniya Shandil, Regulatory Compliance Manager, who coordinated the rigorous audit process, commented, "We were awarded a silver rating (based on scorecard achieved) for our overall sustainability performance as a business in 2023, taking into account our operations, business practices and efforts with suppliers / customers. We are very proud of this, and look to even further improve our scorecard in the coming years, aiming for Gold in 2024."
