Trifilon Switch® is a bio-based plastic that uses polymer resins derived from starch (plant-based) and reinforces them with natural fibres.

Trifilon Switch® is delivered as granulates that can be used in existing injection moulding machines. Trifilon Switch® can be coloured using standard masterbatch with its plant fibers being visable if desired and can be finished in a number of surface finishes including matte or polished.

Trifilon Switch® is a family of biocomposites whose resins are starch-based PLA, made from responsibly-grown sugarcane and beetroot. Trifilon Switch® materials are reinforced with industrial hemp and cellulose fibres and are industrial compostable.
