Flex & Lip Seals

Flex and lip seals used to prevent leakage, hold pressure and deflect contamination at interfaces between industrial components. Industrial seals can be used at both static and dynamic interfaces.

Due to its excellent flex fatigue / recovery properties, Hytrel® is a great choice for flex and lip seals, outperforming many thermoplastic elastomers. Hytrel® seals can be more resistant to dimensional changes and are more resistant against deforming, which is hugely important in sealing applications where are extreme pressure and temperature changes.

Additionally, the chemical resistance properties of Hytrel® make it very suitable for industrial environments where contact with oils, greases, acids and other fluids may occur.
