Taniya Shandil

Regulatory Compliance & Environmental Manager

Taniya Shandil is Regulatory Compliance & Environmental Manager for Distrupol, specialising in the strategic direction of business compliance activities in the chemical and environmental portfolio of Distrupol products and sites. She is also responsible for the upkeep of current legislations including product/material compliance, SDS regulations and adherence to EU/UK REACH framework whilst dealing with customer requests and expectations and maintenance of environmental certifications and standards.

Previously, Taniya has worked in the gas, pharmaceutical/medical, research and polymer industries with special expertise in organic chemical synthesis and regulatory technical services in the operations department. Taniya has a MSc in Chemistry with Medicine Development and has worked within the sector for 9 years broadening her horizons and knowledge in variable fields of science.

In her spare time, Taniya loves to spend time with family and read, and she has interests in music, dance, cricket, movies and different cuisines.
